Came here about 2 years ago and came back again today while visiting in Vegas. Took my parents and it was their first time trying Thai food and they loved it! The crispy shrimp was very crispy and fresh. Panang curry had a great kick. Pad se ew was super flavorful. Mu pu fried rice (basically crab fried rice) was so good, but could've used a bit more salt. Otherwise A+++++ food. Will be back every time we visit Vegas. Plenty of parking. Quick and lovely service. Very cute and cozy with beautiful decor!

This place is excellent with friendly and knowledgeable service with high quality Thai food with reasonable prices. We found out about this place as a Thai food recommendation from a server at another restaurant. It is one of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. This is what we ordered and every single dish is highly recommended and you won't be disappointed; Penang crispy duck Pad sen lobster Garlic herb crispy prawn Basil eggplant Pad Thai Chicken Mu pu fried rice The lobster dish had a legit sized lobster tail and it was under $30! That would be unheard of in the SF Bay Area. Go to the place now!

Lamaii is the spot in Vegas for Northern style Thai food. This spot is located in Chinatown in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. They are open until 2am which is a huge plus as well! Wifey and I stopped in for a late dinner around 10pm and were seated right away. Inside, they have a gorgeously decorated interior with some fitting ambient lighting. They have a great menu of different appetizers, curries, noodles, and rice dishes. We got the Kao Soi Noodles, Crispy Duck Panang Curry, and two Thai teas. Everything was beyond flavorful and delicious with just the right amounts of spice. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience dining here. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is definitely a must try spot for those looking for some authentic and northern style Thai cuisine!

I love love love Thai food. So maybe my expectations were super high. The inside is decorated beautifully and the ambiance was nice. The service was great. The food was good, not great in comparison to other Thai places I've been to in Vegas. We ordered a crispy fish dish (sorry can't remember the name), Beef Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai and Mango sticky rice. Honestly out of everything the mango sticky rice was the best so order that if it's in season. The beef on the pad thai was more of a fatty steak which was ok but not authentic to the dish. The pad thai was good but felt like it was missing something. Not sure I'd come back here when I have a Thai craving but it's always nice to try new places.

Lamaii is definitely my favorite Thai place in all of Las Vegas. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we really always just resort to our favorites all the time. It's not too far from the strip and I'd say it is worth the trip. I highly suggest getting the oysters, crab fried rice and crispy prawn (you can also order crispy prawn with other dishes). When you order the crab fried rice (if you like spicy), make sure you ask for the prik nam pla (spicy fish sauce). This gives it that extra kick that makes me really enjoy this place. You can also add that to their oysters for more flavor, but I suggest trying the oyster by itself first. The oyster is one of a kind and is a different experience from the typical American or Japanese flavors. Also get a Singha or some other type of cold Thai beer while you're here as it compliments the spice so well. Other notable items would be Crispy Duck Drunken Noodles, Crispy Prawn Panang and Steak Tartare. Honestly I'd say order what I recommended and then something you may be interested in and you should be fine. The whole menu is pretty good. The environment is also really nice with the ambient lighting with all the decor in the place. It's up there with fine dining in regards to Thai. There's also a huge selection of wine as well as some craft beers and sake. Literally the first part of the menu is food and the rest is all wine and cocktails. I usually don't do reservations, but I'd say give this place a call ahead of time prior just to ensure you don't have to wait so long. The service can be slow at times when there's a lot of people since there's mainly 2 people serving the restaurant, but I say the food is worth the wait.

I was so delighted by the food here on my first visit that I made a second trip back just a few days later. The service was prompt and friendly on both occasions. The restaurant is cozy and beautifully adorned with lanterns, lights and hanging decor. At my first visit I ordered the Gang Pu (Crab Curry) which is a spicy curry with crab meat served with vermicelli noodles. This dish was so rich and flavorful and had just the right amount of spice if you're like me and don't enjoy really hot things. I also ordered the Deep Fried Pork Belly which came with this green dipping sauce. I was underwhelmed by the pork belly, it had no real flavor. And the sauce served with it to me was similar to a green sauce you would find at a Mexican eatery. A couple of days later when I returned I tried the Crab Fried Rice, Garlic Fried Crispy Prawns, and the Crispy Duck Curry. All of the entrees were very good and had incredible flavor. The crab fried rice was supposed to have lump crab in it according to the menu but I found that not to be the case. While I could taste the crab it was in small quantities. The presentation of the food made my dining experience so much more enjoyable. Seeing these elegantly plated dishes made me overly excited to try everything. This will be a restaurant that I keep in my rotation.

Excellent food & service! Came just before closing and we're still welcomed to sit down to eat Also, they recently renovated the place and it is beautiful Definitely coming back

I loved: $28 Panang Crispy Duck Curry I really liked: $14 Wings Zaap $19 Mun Pu Fried Rice I liked: $12 Hed Sarm Yang (Mushrooms) This was ok: $24 Yum Nuer These were bad this time around: $12 Garlic Green Beans Lamaii is my favorite #goodeats in Vegas but this time around I was sadly disappointed with the food. Maybe my fault for showing up so close to closing but if you're gonna serve it, then it better not be stale like the green beans we had. Thankfully the duck and curry were still amazing and I heard that some friends who came here on my recommendation also loved it. Service was very solid. They checked up on us often, refilled waters proactively, and checked in with the kitchen to see if we could order wings zaap even tho they originally weren't sure if they had enough. They remodeled the place since I last was here and I like the new vibe and am a big fan of the U shape booths.

This is some of the best Thai food I've ever had! I saw a YouTube feature this restaurant and I had to try it. The interior is super cute once you enter the restaurant. There is plenty of space and a lot of pretty gold decor. The menu has a a bunch of options and would be great for a big party to try a bunch of different items. For appetizers we ordered were the shrimp cakes and wing zaap. Both were super crispy and had amazing flavors. The wings had a spicy and citrusy flavor to it and the shrimp cakes had a really good sweet sauce. For our entrees we got the pad sen lobster, duck basil fried rice, and gang pu (crab curry). I couldn't tell you which one was my favorite because they were all so good! The duck on the fried was nice and crispy, and they were very generous with amount of meat. The lobster noodles were super savory and garlicky. The crab curry had a really great flavor to it and I like the vermicelli noodles that it came with. The workers were very nice and the food came out pretty quick. 10/10! Would totally come back when I'm in Vegas again!

I was able to enjoy Lamaii today for the first time and left very impressed and satisfied! We opted for: - Pad Sen Lobster ($26) The noodles were tasty and plentiful, plus there were plenty of tasty, scrumptious chunks of lobster in there! Melt in your mouth delicious! - Chicken Pad See Ew/ (no veggies) ($16). There was a generous amount of chicken mixed in with the flat noodles. So frickin' delicious! - Mun Pu Fried Rice ($19) This is essentially crab fried rice. And that's all it needs to be! It was so, so good! Large chunks of crab meat were fantastic mixed with the fried rice. We went early in the afternoon, so it was slow and not crowded at all. Service was outstanding! We were seated very quickly in a spacious and cushy booth. It was nice to be given the much better seating option without having to ask. We never had to ask for a refill on our waters and never were stuck waiting around for anything. The server did an outstanding job! I also enjoyed a Singha beer while I was here also, and it was brought out and poured for me into a frosty and chilled mug! Very nice touch! They had some mellow jazz music piped in there and it made for a relaxing and laid-back vibe. This was a fantastic little treat, and we will absolutely be back for more.....and likely very soon! 5 stars.
